Listening to Ballona is a series of installations inspired by long term bioacoustic recordings captured by several Cornell Ornithology Labs Swift One audio monitors I deployed at Los Angeles's Ballona Wetlands since April 2022; chronologically:

Ballona (pronounced Bay-oh-na) is how Western settlers of Guashna call this native Tongva-Gabrielino land.
